On January 26th, 2012 I became a”Nauntie” (Nanny auntie) and began my life of going to Chicago every week till June 15th. It has been quite the adventure to not only travel to Chicago every week, but also to watch my nephew grow up. I have been taking a photographic journal of his first few months alive and have quite a bit of pictures to share. Feel free to check out his progress as he ages and my journey on learning to photograph children. I have added all the pictures into my “people” gallery.

Just a little update for the month on projects I am working on. I am working with a local artist Rob Day http://robday.com/home.html be sure to check out his website. Together we are making a short film piece on all the artwork he is doing for his up and coming show of Landscapes. The show will be in May and I will be able to share the piece then.
Another ongoing project I will be working on is working with the band Coast on a special project called Out West for Rene. www.outwestforrene.comTogether we will be making a video documentary Check out their page to read more about it.
And lastly I am working on helping some close family friends get their facebook page and up and running along with taking some pictures for their website which was designed by my dad Michael Partington. I got a new camera for Christmas and have been playing around with it the past month. All my photos on the website have been taken with just your average every day digital camera. With my new Canon Rebel I am hoping to add a better quality to my pictures. 18 megapixels picks up a lot of detail! Be sure to check out my page from time to time as I upload new pictures.
